1. Post-Purchase Setup

Important for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series Users:
  • Ensure your bought account matches your GTA V Game version and your console.
  • The Standard Edition will not work with modded accounts.
Steps to Log In:
  • Use the provided account email and password.
  • If prompted for a verification code, log in to the provided email and retrieve it.
Verify Modded Features:
  • Launch GTA Online to check for included features (e.g., money, rank).
  • Contact the seller in order chat immediately if there are discrepancies.

2. Securing Your Account

Account Security:
  • Change the account password.
  • Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for added protection.
Email Security:
  • Log in to the provided email account.
  • Change the email password.
  • Enable 2FA on the email.
Warranty: You’re obligated to do all the steps mentioned above with your new account. If you do not change the Epic Games and Email password, it might void the warranty as you didn’t do the preliminary steps to keep your account safe.

3. Common Issues & Fixes

Version Compatibility (PS5 & Xbox Series): Ensure your account matches the game version:
  • Old Gen = Standard Edition
  • New Gen = Enhanced & Expanded Edition
PlayStation Password Reset Bug:
  • If prompted to reset the password during login, follow the on-screen instructions using the provided email credentials.
“Fix It on the Web” Error (Xbox):
  • Log in to the account at xbox.com with the credentials.
  • Complete additional verification if required (e.g., phone number).
Email Troubleshooting:
  • Refresh the inbox when retrieving verification codes.
Safety Precautions:
  1. Avoid contacting Rockstar Support.
  2. Don’t use cheats or mods outside of included features.
  3. Steer clear of high-profile tournaments to minimize account scrutiny.
  4. Avoid making in-game purchases the first month.
