# Partner Verification & Why It's Required

> Explains the partner verification steps, why verification is required, and which documents you need to complete it.

  At GameBoost, we require all Partnered sellers to complete verification before listing products or withdrawing earnings. This policy helps protect both our partners and buyers, and ensures a safe, trustworthy marketplace for everyone.

# Why Verification Is Required

    ID verification helps us prevent fake sellers, stolen accounts, chargeback abuse, and other types of fraud. This ensures all partner listings are trusted and buyers feel confident.

    To process withdrawals and handle financial transactions legally and securely, we must comply with global KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations. This includes verifying identity and payment information.

    Partners need to complete verification to:

    * Publish listings
    * Receive payouts
    * Access full seller features (e.g., rank upgrades, featuring accounts)

## What Partners Need to Provide

    A valid government-issued ID, such as:

    * Passport
    * National ID card
    * Driver’s license

    Accepted examples include:

    * Tax office document showing Partner name and address
    * City/government document showing Partner name and address
    * Bank statement showing Partner name and address
    * A utility bill showing Partner name and address (if one of the documents above is unavailable)

    Partners sign the contract digitally at the end of the process

  **Important**: The partners **name and address** on their ID and proof of residency **must match** what’s written in their signed contract.

## How the Verification Process Work:

  All steps must be completed. Partners cannot list offers or withdraw funds until verification is completed.

  <Step title="Begin Onboarding" stepNumber={2} titleSize="h3">
    If a partner’s application meets GameBoost standards, the team will reach out using the contact details provided in the application (usually email or Discord) and share instructions to begin onboarding.

      For security reasons, onboarding and verification are handled end-to-end with the same staff member who started the process. Other staff members cannot step in and verify a partner instead.

      If someone else claims they can verify a partner, it should be treated as suspicious and reported to the assigned staff contact.\\

  <Step title="Preliminary Verification " stepNumber={2} titleSize="h3">
    After initial contact, the partner completes a short preliminary verification step with the assigned staff member. This step is mandatory and cannot be skipped.

    During this step, the staff member confirms key application details and ensures the application is eligible to move forward before onboarding begins.

    This setup includes initial profile setup, reviewing required platform basics, and completing any required guidelines.

      Partners will also select a preferred payout method (for example: bank transfer, Wise, Skrill, crypto). Payout details can be updated later in settings.

  <Step title="Documentation and KYC Verification" titleSize="h3">
    Verification is completed by uploading the required documents through GameBoost’s verification provider, iDenfy.

    * Government-issued ID
    * Proof of residency

    KYC is used to confirm identity and verify that the submitted documents match the partner’s information on file.

    Once onboarding and verification are completed, partners can begin offering their services and goods on GameBoost, manage orders, and communicate through official channels.
