## **Security Notice: Watch for Impersonators**

GameBoost has received reports of people pretending to be staff members on Discord.

* Staff will never send a direct message first.
* Staff will never send friend requests.
* If someone contacts you claiming to be staff, treat it as suspicious and do not click unknown links or download any files.
* If unsure, [open a support ticket](https://gameboost.com/help/tickets/create) and include screenshots.

**How to Recognize Official Staff**

Official staff members appear under the Customer Support role in the Discord member list and have an official staff tag displayed next to their name.

If someone claims to be staff but does not appear there, treat it as a scam.
